Welcome to the Honeycomb Brain
This is The Honeycomb Brain of Julia Star.
This is going to be my catch-all get the ball rolling blog home for all of the long-form writing I do. I may use it to discover a more focused voice to launch a more specialized blog with or this blog may transition to a more specific format down the road. I’m going to try not to limit it too much.
I will not be locking any of my long-form writing behind the paywalls.
Everything I write here will be free for all.
Why subscribe?
Free Subscriptions get full access to the newsletter and my long form writings. I will never lock my writings behind the paywall.
Paid Subscriptions get a few little extras here and there as a thank-you which may include spotify playlists, some day-in-the-life style images, and will definitely include access to my chat where I may post polls and allow subscribers to help me guide the future content in this space.

About Me:
My name is Julia or Jules and any pronouns are fine for me.
I am primarily gender fluid, secondarily non binary and tertiarily Transgender. I may write a dedicated post about what that means to me and why I phrase my gender identity that way at some point. I am also pansexual and polyamorous. My spiritual beliefs tend to be esoteric and eclectic and influenced from a lot of earth-based pagan spiritualities and other occult religious and spiritual frameworks. I also draw a lot from Buddhism and Hinduism. Politically I align most with socialist and anti-capitalist ideals but I don’t focus a lot of my writing on my spirituality or my political views so they will probably be the least likely things to show up here. I also am the mother of a lovely tween boy.
I have diagnosed ADHD, Complex PTSD and Bipolar Disorder type 2. I don’t focus too much on the specific diagnoses but rather focus my personal treatment approach on symptom mitigation and recovery as well as coping with cyclical symptom emergence. A lot of my writing will be surrounding these topics from time to time. When I first began treatment for ADHD I really hyperfocused on the topic and have gathered a ton of insight, information and opinions on the subject.
